पुणे शहराला निसर्गाने काही विशेष वरदान केले आहे की ज्यामुळे जगात  सुंदर म्हणून  गाजलेली   जी  शहरे आहेत त्यात पुण्याची गणना होणे सहज शक्य आहे. पुणेकरांना या गोष्टीचा सार्थ अभिमान वाटावा त्याचबरोबर या शहरावर व पुणेकरांवर अकारण अन्याय झालेला आहे. याबाबत आपणास सारख्या जागृत पुणेकरांनी माहिती करून घावी.

चार्टर्ड अकौंटंट या नात्याने माझ्या ५०हुन अधिक वर्षांच्या जीवनात मला असे आढळून आले की अधिकांश भारतीय (मीही त्यातलाच एक होतो) काही चुकीच्या कल्पनांनी पछाडलेले आहोत. त्या कशा चुकीच्या  आहेत हे आपण समजावून घेतले तर आपण जगातल्या सर्वात श्रीमंत व सर्वात बलवान अशा पहिल्या पाच राष्ट्रांच्या पंक्तीत बसू.
          याचे वस्तुनिष्ट विवेचन केवळ १६० पानांत सोप्या, ओघवत्या भाषेत तुम्हाला खचितच आवडेल. ब्लॉग या क्रांतिकारक शोधाला धन्यवाद! ज्यामुळे अत्यल्प  खर्चात मी लाखो लोकांपर्यंत पोहोचू शकलो!

During my 50+ years service as Chartered Accountant I found that vast majority of us Indians, including me, have been led to believe that we are over populated, exploited, underdogs who have little future in their own country. Poverty, malnourishment, dependence on big powers for better days is considered inevitable. My independent study proves that these are self-inflicted delusions. We are blessed with abundant natural resources and several other positive factors which can make us among the top 5 richest and most powerful nations. It is heartening that the thesis of this book published in September 2001 has been received well and of late many politicians, industrialists, economists etc. have also started endorsing the view that India can and therefore should aspire to become a World Power.
          Thanks to the new invention of ‘Blog’ which allows me to reach millions of fellow Indians at very little cost. I am confident you will find 156 pages easy to read, informative, enjoyable and inspiring.
